George Bradford has had a great year and is poised to take the 2011 season by storm. Being the second highest ranking African American golfer behind Tiger Woods, Bradford is close to entering the ranks of the PGA.  Bradford currently plays in the Canadian tour and played the Nationwide Price George's Open in Maryland this year..  Recently, he was in the money at the Desert Dunes Classic shooting 72-70-67-72 to finish 7 under par with 17 birdies. His best finish in 2009 was a T-15 at the Corona Mazatlan Mexican PGA Championship.  2008 was his best season on the Canadian Tour, a season that saw him go from 51st to 5th on the Order of Merit in one year. Bradford currently resides in Hyattsville, MD.
Katie KempterKatie Kempter, an Albuquerque, NM native, graduated just last year from the University of Denver where she dominated the game of golf. She made the All-Sunbelt Conference Team and the NGCA All-Scholar Team all 4 years. She won three tournaments and finished 18 times in the top 10 during her collegiate career. After graduation she turned pro and in May of 2009 she finished runner-up at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament where she earned Priority List for the LPGA2010 season. Katie has made a great showing in her first year playing 15 events. Currently, She is ranked 146 and playing in tournaments in Asian Ladies Golf Tour. She recently placed 24 in the Sanya Ladies Open in China hitting 12 birdies scoring 72,70,74. Last week finished in the Top 10 at the Hero Honda Women's India Open scoring 72,73,72 hitting 7 birdies ans 2 eagles! Learn more at the Ladies Asian Golf Tour Website.

Trey Treadwell Shoots Competitive Course Record 62 to Share Medalist Honors in U.S. Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifying at Independence Golf Club.

“I made some putts and felt like I was ‘in the zone’ putting. Everything else, I was working on – it felt like a lot of work, but I focused well,” said Treadwell, who will be competing in his third U.S. Amateur, having played in the national championship last year at Merion Golf Club’s East Course and in ’97 at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club.
