Katie Kempter, an Albuquerque, NM native, graduated just last year from the University of Denver where she dominated the game of golf. She made the All-Sunbelt Conference Team and the NGCA All-Scholar Team all 4 years. She won three tournaments and finished 18 times in the top 10 during her collegiate career. After graduation she turned pro and in May of 2009 she finished runner-up at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament where she earned Priority List for the LPGA2010 season. Katie has made a great showing in her first year playing 15 events. Currently, She is ranked 146 and playing in tournaments in Asian Ladies Golf Tour. She recently placed 24 in the Sanya Ladies Open in China hitting 12 birdies scoring 72,70,74.
